Our name says it all - we are here to be consulted about any aspect of Value Added Tax.

With many years of "hands on" VAT experience - within HM Customs & Excise, at all of the main professional firms, in Dugald's case as a sole practitioner for some 18 months and in Jim's case within commerce – the directors of The Carstairs & Liddell VAT Consultancy Ltd can offer more "been there, done that" knowledge and understanding of the subject than most. Since the company began trading in April 2003, we have simply added to that experience.

Our aim is to bring that experience to bear on our clients' VAT issues. We are committed to providing a "Big 4" service and clients can be confident of our personal attention.

Although we provide a big 4 service, we are in turn confident that clients will find that their professional costs are more manageable.
